About Wellness Warriors, Inc
Our History
Wellness Warriors, Inc is a non profit organization that provides physical, mental, and emotional tools and therapies for active duty and retired military veterans and first responders who are experiencing physical disabilities, PTS, mental injuries and the effects of life altering trauma and injury. We equip, empower and educate each individual to transcend their perceived limitations turning their pain into potential, purpose and power promoting physical, emotional and mental wellness.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help our nation’s warriors heal through our resort-style wellness retreat center. We specialize in post-traumatic stress, MTBI (mild traumatic brain injuries), physical disabilities and traumatic injuries, unresolved grief and emotional injury. Our wellness protocols are holistic and individualized in nature treating the whole person (physically, mentally, emotionally, mentally, relationally, financially and socially). We believe with support that each person can become stronger than before because of rather in spite of the trauma and injury.
Our Vision
Our vision is to “heal one until there are none” lost to suicide or the effects of PTS, TBI and trauma. To achieve the vision for Wellness Warriors, Inc, we will provide an environment conducive to healing and rebuilding. Rather than a clinical setting, we will provide a holistic wellness retreat-like setting which will enable the individual to surrender and allow healing to happen with our support and systems. We will provide ground breaking science based and reputable therapies and modalities of holistic health, healing and optimal wellness for the individual as well as their caregivers, families and support systems.
